    Anyone hauling kayaks?

Except for putting a rack on the top of the truck has anyone figured out anything to secure to rear of trailer utilizing the hitch?
    Thanks

I just pack mine on top of the truck. Here is a shot from my last trailer/truck setup. The bikes are lighter so they go on the receiver hitch on the trailer bumper.

Yeah, I really think that's how I'm going to need to do it. Hoping someone far more ingenious then I will have come up with some way to strap to trailer.

You may need to make sure anything you mount on the back stays within weight limits. Not sure what that will be for you, but just thought I'd toss that out for consideration.

I searched for "kayaks on back of RV" and found some options. I've not tried any of them myself. I'd be concerned of the length of the boat going above the rig height.

We found a rack from a company in CA to go above cab of truck. We too carry bikes on back of camper. Our 4 kayaks are 10 & 12' long so would stick up to high on back of unit.
I beleve company is called US Rack, fifth wheel kayak rack. I like it because it clamps to bed rails (no holes in truck!) and goes up and over cab, hangs about 4" above cab, no contact with cab. Just strap kayaks to rack, nothing obstructing view out windshield. Rack can be removed in 10 minutes by loosening four bolts on clamps, but we just leave ours on.
I can find a pic and post it later if you would like to see it.
