I looked at mine today, the staples looked like the may have backed out a bit-I was able to push the one I could reach in some. Guess I'll call GD tomorrow to have them ok taking it to my local rv repair. Closest dealer is over 100 miles away. Blue Dog in Redding is inept, & the dealer in Reno will put me on the back burner.
I might as well have them fix the gas line recall that came out a few months ago (fixed that myself) while it's there... Or maybe wait for the third fridge recall to come out.

I have the same dealer distance issue. Mine looks fine, but I guess if the staples failed it might become an issue. A couple dabs of construction adhesive might make the whole potential problem disappear.

I'm attaching pictures of the compartment. The Romex comes up out of the floor and loops over top of the outlet that the fridge plugs into. No way it can come in contact with anything, and it's the only Romex I can find in the compartment. Also, here is a direct quote on the issue from the NSTSA
    quote -
"Description of the Cause: In applications where the 110V Romex wire runs diagonally through the refrigerator cavity, the wire is secured to the inside of the sidewall. The potential exists for the securement to fail over time due to road vibration. If the securement fails, the potential exists for the 110V Romex wire to make contact with the cooling unit of the refrigerator. The heat from the cooling unit may compromise the wire insulation, resulting in an electrical arc that may result in a fire. Component Name 1 : WGCU 12/2 Solid Wire Component Description : 12/2

Recall for Refrigerator wiring on our Reflection

    Hi All,
We are hoping someone posts a video on how to do the recall fix for the refrigerator wiring recall. We do not want to bring it into the dealer. Any help out there?

The Romex wire that crosses on mine feeds the receptacle for the counter at the stove. I’m guessing if no receptacles on either side for counter space there is no wire that crosses.

Well, it's supposed to be two pictures, I'll post them again here. As a reference, the green line I have drawn on the one picture traces the route of the Romex wire up through the floor and up around the receptacle for the fridge. The Romex enters the top of the receptacle

Recall 22V-038 LP Gas Refrigerators on Fifth Wheel Trailers

The notice I received describes some wires that may come loose and touch something hot. It sounds like I can fix it myself with some wire clamps. I really hate bringing my rig into the dealer.
Has anyone had this issue or the repair made by a dealer? Pictures of the issue?

    Thanks, Steve
