My HPFP service is complete and as others have said I think pickup is better (might be my imagination).
I had previously installed the 50 gallon Titan replacement fuel tank. Nothing was said about new fuel tank.
This is a big load off my mind, I have been using a fuel lubricant because of the CP4. I plan to continue
using the lubricant. 2 days to install, not bad.

Between the HPFP and 55gal Titan now in, I feel a lot more comfortable. I had the Titan installed by an independent that has worked on my 6.0L Ford (a lot). While there we were comparing trucks (his is 2020 3500 also) and we started talking about the lame OEM fuel cap RAM installed and he recommended below. I don't know how Ram could have gotten any cheaper with the red factory plastic fuel fill insert that doesn't fit, doesn't seal, allows DEF/water into the fuel pipe, and blows away in a wind (as happened to me in Missouri). Replaced with something more substantial. For anyone interested, available from Geno's or Amazon. For any Ram owners interested,

My 3500 2020 Ram has never had a cap, is it supposed to?
Thanks for bringing this to my attention:

This is what RAM put in my fuel filler neck. If I were to put it on a postage scale, it wouldn't even register.

I think that is just a cap for shipping. Ram may have gone the way of Ford in their Transits, where there is no cap, you just push in a flap inside the filler tube and when you withdraw the nozzle you're done!

That is how my 2018 Ram Cummins is. I bought one of the push-in O=ring caps, just for my own peace of mind.

Possibly, but it just doesn't seal (nor does the inner flap). DEF fill is right next to it and at least one truck stop, the pressure on the DEF was very high - shut off splashed a bunch into the shipping cap.

AS others mentioned, the red RAM fuel filler cap is for shipping. The fuel door is gasketed and the fill tube has a drain in between the first and second flapper if something were to get by the door gasket. I also prefer some kind of cap and purchased the RAM accessory cap for mine, but the overall design was made to not require one.
