changed my chain set up for my Reese Goosebox. Now the chains are shackle to the bed anchor points and I will connect the hooks to the hitch. Hopefully it will keep me out of the bed or having to get a stool to reach in on both sides once hitched to the ball.

What did I do with my Grand Design today?

I pulled into my driveway safely with wifey after a nearly 5000 mile five week trip through the Southwest, excellent trip, the 22RBE and 17 Silverado performed excellently. Great trip and good to be home.

Dropped the spare tire and using gorilla tape, taped up the big hole in the coroplast. Shot some foam into a couple of gaps around pipes. Put bleach solution into fresh water system. Installed the levelmate pro. Installed the eBike RV rated Swagman bike rack. Hooked up batteries and turned on refrigerators. Tested A/C units and furnace.

Getting excited about leaving on a 4 month outing next week. Grandchildren, here we come.

Got our rig "Un-summer-ized" and "Wet" and ready for travel to the gulf coast for the winter.
Tested all systems, greased wet bolts, inspected and greased bearings. Flushed hot water tank, new anode, new in-house water filter. Cleaned AC vent filters. Touched up suspect areas on the roof with self-leveling. Loaded up! This will be our 4th season on Mustang Island, Port Aransas.

We are a "GO" for Sunday! Should arrive 5 days later.

We found and fell in love with that area last year. This year we are doing Goose Island (after three days in the Hill Country on the way at Fredericksburg) then Mustang, then back to Goose Island. The way we have it worked out with reservations of course is, Goose for two weeks, Mustang for two weeks, back to Goose for two weeks and we'll have to bail out of Goose for a day (may do a day at the beach) and return for two more weeks. We will be spending Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years at Goose. Then off to Big Bend. BB will be a new adventure for us. Then perhaps New Mexico or Arizona after that. Perhaps we'll run into each other.
