    Hello Everyone

Down sized from a Tiffin motorhome to a Imagine 2600RB travel trailer. I would have to say it is much easier then driving a forty one foot motorhome and not to mention the savings in maintenance cost. Looking forward to talking to the members on this site and learning from their experiences.
My wife and I just took our first trip and went to Amarillo, Texas to visit. Everything worked well except tripping the breaker when my wife used her hair dryer. It appears 30 amp service is a limited when you have the A/C on.

    Hi Marcy and Gary
Thanks for welcoming me to the forum. You are so right about the tires. I replaced them and the six Lifeline batteries before selling the motorhome. It was a large expense. My wife and I are planning to take our second trip in our 2600rb to South Padre Island, TX. I see you have three best friends (aka Your Dogs). My chihuahua is next to me in my chair sleeping. Thanks again

Welcome to GD ownership. Its the age old debate, Motorhome verses Travel Trailer. Everybody has to pick what best fits their situation. Whats important is to have fun and make memories. Enjoy and safe travels

Welcome aboard! We are currently outside Dallas visiting my brother, then on our way to San Antonio and then Port Aransas. Maybe we will run into you long the way. Enjoy your new rig!

Welcome to the forum! I'll agree with @WhittleBurner - that's quite a downsize.

    A few forum tips:

1)You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

    2) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

    3) Another way to get someone's attention and let them know you've responded to them is to tag them with the "@" symbol and their user name as I did with Marcy above (if the typeface is red, it's Marcy; black, it's Gary... Marcy's the wordy one.)

    Happy camping!
