Hi Mark,

Just keep at it. I see you're full-timing, so joining a club would be hard. But, keep working the test app on your device and it will come. 2/440 is great - repeaters are a bit quiet but I find if I rattle the cage a bit, I get people to chat with. HF is great, but if you get your tech, a digital radio (I like Fusion) and a hot spot, the world is yours.

Keep me posted when you get your license!

Yep! They plug right into the remote head. A boom headset is in my immediate future. So far, Slovenia has been my best DX with this rig (operating from a picnic table).
