Broken shackle mount

I have a 2018 29rs. I was coming back from a trip and noticed the trailer wasn’t tracking right. I pulled over and sure enough the mount from the shackle to the frame broke completely off. I was lucky to be a very short distance from home as well as a welding shop. I dropped it off but it was to late to call GD on Friday. My warranty is over the 1 year by a few months and wondered if anyone knew if this would still be covered by the axle warranty? I am having them check the other welds as well.

My 2017 303RLS passenger side rear shackle mount broken off the trailer frame. Waiting for service welders to reattachment. Are there others who have had this problem?

I can't count how many have had their hangers break. Do a search here for broken hangers and you will have plenty to read. It is not limited to Grand Design, many makes use the Lippert frame and have the same issue.

Ours fell off due to a faulty weld which caused the other side to start cracking at the weld on the same axle. Both fixed by Lippert mobile tech.

Contact Lippert, they are the manufacture of the frame. If you're lucky they'll goodwill the repair

2017 GD 303 RLS Broken Shackle mount on trailer frame. I got a service guy to repair and reweld mount to the frame, he also checked the other mounts and added braces by welding, all six mounts and replacement of shackle bushings were repaired for $495.
