Thoughts on a vertical tension rod shower caddy
I'm looking to add some storage to my shower stall. The two little shelves in the stall are a joke to put anything on. My travel shampoo bottles barely stay on them.
I can't use command strips or suction cups because the shower walls are textured.
I was thinking of using a tension rod organizer that would go floor to ceiling. I would remove it during travel.
I'm wondering if the shower floor and camper ceiling can withstand the tension of one of these organizers? I have one in my home bathroom and the spring is pretty strong!
Thanks in advance!

We use a 36 inch shower curtain rod in the back of the shower wall and hang a shower caddy from it

We take everything out of the shower for travel though. Not going to risk anything cracking the pan

Thank you for pic! It's very helpful.
It looks like you have a shower curtain ring holding the organizer to the pole?

I don't see that working as the ceiling is curved and the shower floor has too much 'give' in it. The second you stepped near the bottom of your vertical road the whole thing would come crashing down. IMHO. We just set our bottles on the floor.
@NB Canada solution seems to be a pretty good option.Mike & Lisa

Yes but I believe there are better options
I just did this quickly before we left for the summer
The caddy will tilt if it gets weight on one side
I saw in a Facebook group someone had the same rod and better loops to hang things
I think a net type caddy that attaches at the corners will be better and will likely go that way

We use a pair of Command Strip shower caddies to hold product bottles for Nikki and I. Used them in our prior camper and this one. Never had an issue with them holding as I'm meticulous when installing the strips. We don't travel with the product in them, and just pop the caddies off the wall full and stow them under the vanity. Just an alternate to consider.
