Did you travel with the tv mounted to the wall or remove it. Also I noticed the tv mount is to the side of the label

I have the MorRyde TV1-087H. I'm a little bit worried. Even though it's got 8 screws to hold it, it's pretty heavy. It's rated to hold 25 lbs, but I'm worried the mount and tv could come off the wall when the trailer hits bumps.

There are many discussions on this forum about TV mounts. MORryde makes mounts intended for travel. This is one discussion https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...age2?highlight but you can find others using the search tool in the upper right corner. Owners on this forum alone have collectively travelled thousands of miles over all kinds of roads with no one reporting a loose TV yet.

Oh I have no doubt about how robust the MorRyde mount is. My concern is that the screws maintain their bite into the metal plate to hold it and the tv against the wall. I got #10 sheet metal screws. I may get some #12's to get a bit more bite. I'm just concerned because the mount is so robust and therefore heavy.

Just installed a 32” Furrion in the bedroom of my 2150RB. Forgot to bring a magnet to determine where the metal plate ended....but then I remembered the magnetic latches on the door to the front storage area. Removed two screws and was able to use the magnet from that. Worked great!

We have been driving around for 4 years with roughly 25,000 miles. Part of it on some not so nice roads and the screws that came with the MorRyde mount have heald steady and strong. We never remove the TV, lock it in place and drive away. I have full confidence that TV isn't going to fall off the wall.

What length screw did you use? I saw @Rapid1 used 3/4” long. Would 1” long screws be too long? Didn’t know if GD told you length of the screw. Thanks for the help!
