It's tight - no movement. Worked great for first 5K miles.

Ours has a strap with snaps on both ends, been fine for the duration. The one in the bedroom has the bunnies and those are still tight, been fine even over very rough roads.

Maybe the attaching screw needs tightening or adjusting?

Everything is tight but I did rotate the spring ring in the female snap 180 degrees this morning.

I put this on mine. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I did have to cut down the length, and I did not use the end piece. It is not needed as the latch bar puts slight pressure on the door and keeps it in place. I also had to chamfer the screw holes to allow flat head screws to set flush. Has worked the last 3 trips over some rough roads, including up to Erie. @xrated has a better system I think, I'm just throwing out another option.

That bungee will eventually wear the doors, really not a good design. I replaced mine with a similar latch.

I also got tired of worrying about the sliding doors banging back and forth while we travel so I installed a spring loaded barrel bolt on the top of the bathroom door and the bottom of the bedroom door. So far quite solid and no issues. I put a piece of felt strip on the top of the bathroom door to protect the door. I had to drill into the floor in the bedroom for a place for the bolt to go but it is also quite solid.

This is the part I used -- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I like that spring loaded barrel bolt. Will keep that in mind if the OEM bunge wears out on ours.

Here is the original bungie that was on mine. Been working ok so far.

The bathroom is just a strap with snaps on either end. That has also been ok.
