Winterizing when the pump doesn't pull anti-freeze through.

This is our second winter and last year we had the dealer winterize our Solitude. I took notes plus followed along from the owner's manual. Now I go to winterize this year and the water pump will NOT pull anti-freeze from the jug. It's running, I can hear it. Any hints, suggestions, ideas, help? Thanks.

Never mind, sorry. I was putting the suction hose to the wrong inlet. GD take note, my Solitude 369RL #302 did NOT have the winterizing inlet marked. The fresh water city connection and the sewer flush connections are marked. The left side inlet I was told was for filling the water tank should we go rustic. There is no marking on this inlet. We never do rustic so I left it alone. After failing to draw water through the suction hose with it connected to the city water inlet enough times I gave up, had lunch, and placed the above post. Determined to figure this out I made the only change I could think of, moving the suction hose to the left inlet. What do know, it worked. Job is done, story is over.

You can also try filling hose manually before you put it in the jug. It might give it a better pull to start the flow.
