    2018 315RLTS Furnance

Used the furnace for the first time and have a question.

When I set the thermostat above the hutch and select “furnace and the temperature “, the overhead a/c blowers air but not hot air like coming out of the floor registers.

Is the overhead a/c unit suppose to come on? The manuals don’t list anything.

    Thanks .... Don

LC is correct. Use your thermostat to select the fan setting. There will be Hi, Lo, and Auto. If it's set on hi or lo, you'll get the AC blowing when the furnace is on. Cycle through the thermostat settings until you come to the fan. Then use the up or down arrow to select auto.

Also, don't be surprised if your furnace puts out some smoky odors the first time or two you use it. It's normal and won't hurt anything.

EDIT: I see you posted success while I was typing. Good deal!
