    Interesting fact. I am using the 1000 scale and getting readings around 900 lbs. Curious to know where you heard the mid-range accuracy statement. I might have to step up to the 2000 lb replacement scale.

    The Sherline website advises that their scales are most accurate in the mid-range of the gauge.
