I don't want to be locked into just one kind of pin box if I want to change to something else. I don't need my pin box to pivot. Also I like my B&W Companion hitch it pivots just fine fore and aft and side to side.. I could be wrong but I remember reading something about the wings being different if using a Roto-Flex.
I think you are confusing it with something else. The roto-flex used the 1621 box housing which is very compatible. I had the same mount on my Reflection and it was a simple swap to the Reese Goosebox.

I think you are confusing the Roto-Flex (not used on GD fifth wheels any more) with the Turning Point pivoting pin box on the 150 Series. The chassis wings that the Roto-Flex bolted to are the same for the MORryde and Lippert 1621.

Although this was last year, I found this guy's opinions pretty reasonable.

FYI. I went from Roto-flex to a Mor/ryde with out any problems.

Just recently found out that Micha has been traveling with his family in the prototype 5th wheel getting feedback in the field from random RV owners... This may bear watching closely.

Other than that I agree with Steve about considering Alliance
Don't think this first look video of the Brinkley fifth wheel has been posted elsewhere on the forum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Some of the design elements, especially the nearly "maintenance-free roof" (although not a lot of specific details in video about the roof other than a general statement), may push GD to follow-suit and innovate. At least I hope it does.

Great video , thanks for posting the link ! From what I can see the Fenech brothers did it again along with their partners. They have another winner and booth GD and Alliance better watch out and step it up ! This looks like one that would definately attract us..great interior storage that almost all other companies have gone away from but is so important to those of us that spend most of our time or full time in the rv.
Not a fan of stark white walls and glaring uncovered lighting but that can easily be changed.

Brinkley has many great things going on. There are a number of areas with not only the RVs but the company in general. I have had some communications/conversations with one of the key owners (who I have communicated with for nearly a decade) for sometime now.

He knows we have a long time support for GDRV as we have been way beyond pleased with them. However, it is the people that made this work......and now these key folks are looking to raise the bar even more. We continue to do our due diligence with Brinkley and are very impressed.
