Generator Power
I just picked up a new to me 2018 Momentum 397TH.
It appears that when I am running off the generator that my tv, fireplace and microwave and few electrical outlets don't work. Hook it up to shore power and they all work.
I read in the manual about this and sure enough this is the case. Is there a way around this or it is what it is?
I did some testing last night and I don't think the Norcold frig will run off the generator either.
We don't plan to do much boondocking at the moment, but you never know and I'd like to be prepared if we do.
TIA,

Is this the built-in generator? That just seems very odd. I've had a couple trailers with generators and everything worked with the generator running.

I'm not familiar with your model but there might be an inverter somewhere that needs to be powered on. If not, then you could always add one.

Sounds like a transfer switch issue or a breaker is tripped on the generator.

Furnace and lights work on battery.
It does sound like no AC power at all. Agree transfer switch is the next thing to check. It's in the basement behind the angled wall.
Edit: you should hear a loud thunk when transfer switch switches after 30 sec or so of the generator running.Last edited by JCR GD; 12-27-2022 at 08:54 AM.
