Hope you enjoy your new RV. We took awhile to choose our next RV. We chose GD for their reliability and for their customer service. We have just returned from Indiana and had a couple of things fixed from the factory.we didn’t trust our dealer. And I can tell you, you will be blown away by their care and concern. We are very happy that we went with GD. You won’t be disappointed!

Here is the thread stated by Klenger, and there are pics of his and mine. Yes, you can still use the sofa bed.

Hi! Susan we picked up our unit last Friday and towed it home to our storage area. The trip home was around 120 mi. and many Western Maryland Mountains . The trailer towed quite well and I did not encounter any sway from passing trucks. We transferred our belongings from the other trailer to the new one so we had most everything we would normally carry except for clothes. The Chevy 2500 is noisy climbing mountains but did the job well as we were able to top all the mountains at 65 mph. We will probably take our shakedown trip in a couple weeks. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi Dennis,
Changing the sink was not too hard to do. Do need to unscrew the counter and lift it off to remove and mount the sink though. That was about 10 screws or so. Also need some basic plumbing skills to redo the drain.
This post has all of the info on sink and plumbing with pictures.

Post #9 has the link to the sink and #11 shows how I re-did the plumbing.

Hi Brian,
Sounds like you've done a lot of great addition/changes. We did have the EMS-50 installed as well as the levelmate pro. However, I have to have it moved yet again. First they installed it so I couldn't get to the on/off switch (it was too close to the floor), now I realize I need it closer to an area I can get to before we open the slides. Where is yours mounted? I love the idea of the digital door lock. Was that difficult to install or did you have a locksmith do it? That really sounds like a great security feature since the locks seem rather flimsy.
Well thanks again for all your info.
Sue :-)

Sue,
I mounted my level pro inside the cabinets in the bathroom, easy to get to without messing with a slide.
The digital RV lock was the easiest mod of them all, pull the four screws and take the old unit out, install the new unit and four screws.
If you search YouTube there are a few videos of replacing the RV lock.Brian-USMC Retired
