Our legal residential address is not FL yet . It could happen in the next year or 2. We do stay 6 months in Bradenton so not a 3 and out "typical snowbird" and it seems we're there more than we are at our legal residence.

Hi! My husband and I are in Boca Raton about 7 months of the year. We're in VT the summer months and are now trekking across the country to visit our daughter in Colorado and son in Kentucky.

We are very new to the RV life having just purchased this Reflection 297RSTS Travel Trailer in June of this year. It's been interesting for sure and a learning curve but somehow we're figuring it out. This is our first "big trip". We stayed near the dealer for a few nights when we picked it up. We drove from Florida to VT by way of NJ (where we are both originally from) in late June, which took us about a week. We left VT about two weeks ago and are in Colorado now. I wish we were close enough to the GD Colorado rally happening this weekend, but it wasn't going to happen this trip. We leave on Monday for Kentucky. All in all we have another two weeks planned before we reach home. It will be a total of a month on the road.

Traveldawg we're snowbirds, don't leave us out. :-)

We'd love to meet other Florida RVers!

Not sure from this discussion whether your intent is to avoid snowbirds or include them. We already have a large Grand Design Owners gathering (mostly snowbirds) at the Tampa RV Show, every year. We are Canadian snowbirds who spend November to March in Lake Wales.
