17MKE - Question about the slideout.

I am thinking about purchasing a 17MKE and I am curious if you can lower the Murphy bed when the slide out was in. I was told by some that "The only thing we didn't like was not being able to put down the bed with the slideout in". Is that true?

I don't think it's physically possible to lower the Murphy bed with the slide in. Just based on the floorplan on the GD website.
