2015 Momentum 350M

Purchased our new 2015 Grand Design Momentum M-Class 350M last week. Not our first camper, but by far the one we like the best. The last one was a 2006 Terry Quantum 285RLS, its taking me a little getting used to the extra ten feet on the 350M. So far, I've added extra shelving in the kitchen cabinets and a medicine cabinet in the garage half bath. Next, a shelf in the large bathroom cabinet and then we're off to parts unknown. My wife (retired) and I (retired once and working on a second) love to travel and explore. We have a Polaris RZR 800 that will call the garage home, and two kayaks as soon as I can figure how to get them all in the garage (suggestions appreciated). We live in Lake Charles, Louisiana (southwest Louisiana, 30-miles east of Texas and 60-miles north of the Gulf of Mexico.

We just purchased the same unit. Although we are in Denver and drove it home in snow so it will be a little while until we get it out for a good trip. I was thinking extra shelving in the large bathroom cabinet would be useful too.

Question for the other 350 owners - Where do you put the trashcan in the kitchen? We were thinking of "customizing" a small can to fit under the sink but I had a built in unit with a hole in my coutertop in the last one and it was huge so this will be an adjustment.

I agree on pics- would be nice. Where did you place the cabinet in the 1/2 bath? Next to mirror or instead? We have also added shelving in the main bath- made the storage area plenty. The trash can is an issue to deal with. There are options, but ..... One mod I saw on someone else's TH is a metal cloths bar under the Happy Jack dinette seat (between the brackets) good for drying wet or muddy outdoor clothing or they used for more closet hanging room, since they were full timers. Of course only good when the dinette is raised. We have a few mods in the works, but are really happy with how well this trailer works for us- love the deck!

Well ours came with a trash can. It was in the pantry for shipment. Believe it or not, that trash can (if you got the one that came with the unit) fits perfectly under the sink. Ours in on the left side of the sinks double doors.
