Good morning, we just purchased a 2016 GD Momentum 397TH, took it out this past weekend, only the 2nd trip in it, a few hours away, came home and found that the front molding had separated from the frame and a crack in the side fiberglass, we found in the propane compartment there was a weld broken, has anyone seen this in this year and model and if so, has GD or Lippert offered to fix it as it is clearly a manufacturing defect! I am getting the run around, Lippert saying to contact GD and GD saying to contact Lippert, does anyone have a contact with authority at GD that I can escalate this to? we have another trip planned in less than a month and campground will not allow cancellation without charging us even this far out. TIA

Not sure if you will get assistance on something that old, as it would be hard to determine if it was abused, or possibly had an unapproved gooseneck adapter or something on it.

Maybe if you were an original owner and could verify those things, but you never know.....

Thanks for that info, when we were looking at the unit at the dealership we specifically asked if there were any add on's or anything like that that would void a warranty by previous owner, from what we know, we are only the 2nd owner of this unit and it was in pristine shape... Hoping that info will help me. :) I am so sad because I love this unit and now we have to spend alot of $$'s to fix it.. ugggg I went with used GD because of their quality.. I thought... now I need to rethink if we fix it trade it in and buy something newer but what is good quality at a decent price.

Well, not that it will be of any benefit to you other than knowledge, we fix A LOT more Keystone and Forest River units for frame flex than we have Grand Design...

Have 2 Fuzions here now to get fixed. Just finished a front living room Montana last week.

Good to know!! :) We had a BP Wildwood by Forest River prior to this, .. thought they were quality, but bought it brand new and had ALOT of issues with it, cosmetically... no frame damage or anything major!! wallpaper peeling, floor oxidized, seals coming off.. etc.. we traded in for GD.. thanks again for info!
