2017 GD Reflection 315 RLTS Converter Fan running constantly

At the title says, my converter fan runs constantly, I have replaced the battery and checked the fuses (with an ohm meter) and they are good. Anything else you all can think of that I should check before replacing the converter?

I emailed GD and they were absolutely no help at all, there reply was take it to a RV center so a tech can take a look, the only one local is Camping World and they are complete garbage.

Thank you in advance!

The fan will come on when there is a 12V load. Even several incandescent lights is enough to cause it to turn on.

It just runs constantly, even with nothing on, it didn't used to run constantly. Started a couple months ago. If I turn the breaker off, the lights still work and the fan stops, but even with the breaker off, when I pulled the fuses, checked them and put them back in the fan came on for a second and then turned back off. Could it be a bad converter?

Also I am plugged into shore power.

Could be a sensor in the converter has failed. The other possibility is that there is something drawing power when it shouldn’t be. I’d try pulling fuses to see if the fan shuts down.

Ok just pulled every fuse one by one and it did not shut off, I also went ahead and flipped every breaker on and off one by one and only the converter breaker shut off the fan.

Others may know if this is a possibility, but maybe your battery is bad causing the converter to try to keep charging it at an increased rate thus over working it making the fan come on.

I replaced the battery, I’ll check it with a volt meter tomorrow just to make sure but I don’t think it’s the battery.

Yea, I would just replace the converter. Maybe 30 minute job.
For lead acid I used a Progressive Dynamics PD9260 or 9160 can’t remember was a few years ago.
Cost about 250 bucks.
Had a similar issue with mine. I have the same trailer as you, just a different year.
