Bought a used (and in great shape) 2018 2250RL. On inspection in Michigan, underbelly looked good, even, and no tears. Tape was around the cuts for the dump plumbing (to be expected). This is our 6th camper of different vintage over the past 30 years, so I’ve been around these things for a while.

Towed it back to Georgia (~1000 mi) kept the speeds at or below speed limit (65-67mph). Went to empty the fresh tank, pulled the dump valve, and everything worked as expected — however, I did notice that the Coroplast now looks “wavy” or deformed. No obvious leaks for water, I pushed on the lower parts and it does not seem that there was any water leakages that would cause the Coroplast to bow like that. No rips, all seems to be secured, just deformed.

Is this normal? .. it was pretty warm when we towed it back to GA (95+ degrees air temp in spots, and I’m sure the road temps may be hotter).

Thoughts?

TIA

Mike

And I'm sure it was even hotter over asphalt! See if the Coroplast looks more normal after sitting for a day or so at home.

I would think it is as simple as the heat making the underbelly sag and get wavy from the attachment points.

Look at it when it is cooler out.....
