Hello to all. A true newbie here and have been researching the buying process in anticipation of first travel trailer purchase. Given the COVID effect on inventory is now about worked out in the industry, what is a realistic % off of MSRP sheet that a purchaser should negotiate towards.

Has anyone taken delivery of one of these units and what was your actual experience on price negotiation? Not sure if this varies regionally across the country, but I am in the East Texas region if that makes a difference.

Any suggestions appreciated.....thanks in advance for your guidance!!!!

As you fan out from Indiana the price increases
West coast dealers may actually be charging more than anyone.
I encourage anyone to travel and find the best price

Take that savings which can be thousands of dollars and put it away for a rainy day
I don’t fall for the buying local idea

Get on the internet and find your best price

Lock down a deal and make a trip camping going to get it
You can easily save 2-4000 just on shipping

There is a Colerain RV place not far from where GD are made. Or start calling dealerships and telling them which unit you want and ask for their best price.

We got ours out of Nevada and even with paying shipping to get it here to Oregon we came in $4,300 cheaper than local.

We went with the Nevada dealership because they came in $800 less than Colerain AND had the unit we wanted already in route.
