2021 Reflection 150 Series 268BH considerable sway under light winds

Anyone else have this model or this problem with the 150 series? My truck is more than enough to tow it. There isn't an obvious setup issue with my equipment and locked out helps a bit so I'm not using the Turning Point.

I have the 260RD and I tow using the turning point feature with no problems even in moderate winds. My loaded trailer pin weight is 1580 lbs. Have you taken your's to a CAT scale? If not, I would suggest you do at least once to see where you are. If your trailer is loaded correctly (not tail heavy), you need to get the alignment of the suspension checked in my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. I had it weighed today and my pin weight is very low. Around 1100 I need to tell my wife to load things up in the front. She'll enjoy hearing that. That coupled with the model having bunks in the rear, storage in the rear and bikes on the back I believe I have the issue in hand. Even the fresh water tank is slightly behind the rear axle.

Need to gain probably 500lbs in the front.

Have same 5th wheel with same problem. Keep putting weight to front but still getting sway. Have e-bikes on back as well. Have 7 inches between camper and bed rails. Trailer is 1 inch out of level. Thinking of lowering hitch to see if that will help

I must be missing something. I'm pulling the same trailer with a F250 with zero issues. I havn't been to a CAT scale.
I have a Retrax cover and my hitch is set as high as it can go and still clear the Retrax.

Rear tires at 80PSI, weight up front in storage area, fresh water tank fairly full and keeping Turning Point locked out it pulls great now. Leveling 1" won't matter in my opinion.

We own a 150 295RL. We use our Turning point, keep tires at the recommended 80 PSI, and always run dry (no waste or water). We also keep our luggage and trip gear just in front of the trailer axles by fridge in trailer. Whenever we load our bikes om the back hitch trailer reciever carrier, our backend also gets a little squirly.

However, we have found that our permanent addition of a 16k soft water tank setup in the front storage has helped with the sway issue, not to mention ensuring the truck runs level with our dual path airbag setup.

I have a 260RD with a 2017 Toyota Tundra. I use the Turning Point (I love it) and run heavy with full equipment, full water and a generator on the rear hitch. I have zero issues with sway. It is very stable, pulls great and turns on a dime with the Turning Point.

You tow that with a Tundra???? Wow. Might not sway but that’s heavy for a Tundra.

It's within the tow capacity of the truck. It's good for 10,500. He may have an issue with payload.
