While doing some routine maintaince, I discovered, to my dismay, that Grand Design install the fridge subfloor with no support under the 4 corners of the 3/8” plywood subfloor. There was some poorly placed supported in the middle, nothing on the 4 corners. I found this out when I attempted to level the fridge. As I extended the leveling feet, all that happened was for the front two corners of the plywood subfloor to bend down.
So I pulled out the Fridge, pried up the subfloor, build a solid frame, and screwed the subfloor back down. 100% solid subfloor now. If yours is like mine, the only thing supporting the front of the fridge is the top metal bracket. As much as the RV bounces around that was not satisfactory to me. Pictures attached.
