Hi everybody,
At the end of october we just bought a new to us, 2022 Reflection 367bhs fifth wheel. We are planning to replace the manufacturer installed pinbox by a Trillair Air-ride or a Flex air.
The previous owner repainted our pinbox and cover the sticker, so i would appreciated if someone could tell me what is the original pinbox installed by Grand Design in 2022.

You could call Grand Design customer service with your VIN and they can tell you what was originally built with.

why do you need to know if you're going to replace it?

Should have been a Lippert 1621HD, but, they also used the Lippert Rhino box for a bit.

You can verify by measuring the bolt pattern and dimensions, then using the chart on the Flex Air website.

My 2022 Reflection came with the Lippert 1621HD and I swapped it out to the Lippert Air pin box and love it. Great upgrade with my RV shocks and truck air bags.

Instead of replacing pinbox, get an air-ride hitch instead. Then you are set if you ever change rv's

I can't tell for sure but that hitch looks much heavier (200 lbs or more) and harder to remove from my truck than my two piece B&W. That's the same problem with a slider hitch and the reason I always buy a long bed truck. Adding the air pin box means that once it's installed, I don't have to deal with lifting or moving that weight individually ever again. Just my two cents on how I look at things. I use my truck all the time for hauling and etc. I don't want to have to remove a heavy hitch.

My 25k AirSafe has removable hitch head so is 2 piece and no harder to get out than the B&W it replaced when I had a 36ft 5er so I was set when I bought the 397. It has 4 airbags & 2 shocks.
I honestly never see useing a solid style hitch again. I would consider a Reese "goose box pinbox" that has air bag & it now comes in a 22500 GVWR , # 9416.
