Can anyone tell me where the converter is located on a 2022 Transcend Xplor 297QB? I am thinking about upgrading my auxiliary battery to LiFePo4 and want to check the converter to see if it’s compatible or if I need to change it out. Thanks.

Based on my build sheet I have a WFCO 9855 converter. I’m thinking about replacing it with a Powermax PM3 55-LKL. Will that work?

Not sure about your model, but when I was having convertor issues a few weeks ago, the dealer tech that I spoke with said on our Transcen Xplor 321BH the convertor should be mounted on the back of the WFCO panel. No idea how I would even confirm that, and at 62 with crappy shoulders I'll just put it in for service next summer during our off season.

JimRex62 I got motivated and pulled the WFCO panel off the wall and the converter was back behind there.

For anyone interested, I pulled my WFCO electrical panel and the converter is deck mounted behind the panel.

Certainly something to consider after my shoulder surgery! Overall, how difficult was it to replace? I discovered ours had failed one the first trip after storage for 4 months.

Jimrex62, I haven’t replaced it yet. I plan on doing it this winter. But it didn’t look too bad.

when it cools off more, I'll go out to lot and see how crowded my installation is - shouldn't be very cramped as the panel is under the double door pantry.

In order to keep the trip going, I was given the suggestion to just go buy a automotive battery charger and connect directly to battery. That worked great. I might have to replace the deep cycle marine battery as it dropped to less than 4v overnight.
