Looked at the 2023 2600RB, we have a 2019. We were operating the window shades, which have changed, and noticed that the majority do not retract all the way. As if the spring/mechanism needs to be tighter or adjusted.

Has anyone experience this and is there a adjustment or do they swap them out? Do they know this? What is their solution?

Also look at a 150 Series, the shades are different, better quality and roll up tight.

I have real concern considering they will get used a lot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not going to pull the trigger unless I can get Intel on this issue. I not going except -Service can do that, I what to know what they are going to do exactly so I have my ducks in a roll when talking with them.

Thank you, Rick

Looks like this is your first post, welcome to the forum. The shades on our 150 series have worked very well, can't comment on the 2600RB.

Replace our 303rls shades with honeycomb shades. Took a shot with thermo gun and they are at least 30 degrees cooler and look way better than black vinyl.

Easily adjustable. There is a screw at each end of the roller. To remove the roller, you push up on the clip tab that holds them into the valance; the clip tabs will either be in front of the roller or behind it depending on which way it was installed. Once the roller is out you just turn the Phillips screws to adjust. My instructions are in the camper so can't remember at the moment which is which...one end controls the tension, the other controls the retract height. I can update once I retrieve the instructions but just letting you know it is pretty easy to correct, provided there isn't broken or something. Also, they do operate differently in cold weather so depending on where you are if it's freezing they'll be much slower and may not retract as well as they would in warmer weather.

Copy that, thanks, I understand that the black knob is tension, and clear is stop adjustment, but thought both adjusted by turning the wheel not a screw, it could be both. So it's the sop adjustment that needs adjustment to set it higher into valance, but the shade to not much return tension, so maybe it needs more tension adjustment?

Copy, we have the honeycomb in our 2019 and we like them and easy to adjust. ... I totally agree, but I'm not going replace when it's brand new off lot and they should be working..

Here are a few forum tips:

1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

3) If you choose to get a paid membership (nominal cost and well worth it), you can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

We have a 2021 RB2600 which we really like. However we have had probems with the shades. On the larger slide out windows both shades are not staying down when pulled down. Will be contacting the manufacturer tomorrow and will see what happens. May go to another style shade.

The shades on my 2023 Imagine XLS do not have the Black / Clear knobs on the ends, just Phillips screws. If you pull the shade down past the factory preset point, they will not go back up until you reset them by rolling the shade by hand.

GD replaced these per warranty.

I have one now that won't stay down...

The tension is good, goes up just fine but will no longer lock

Took it apart, reset the spring tension, didn't find any locking mechanism or dirt/debris...

Emailed them and waiting a reply, with the 4th, I hope to hear back next week

Shades not staying in the down position

Hi, just wondering if you ever got your issue resolved. I have the same issue, one of my shades will not stay in the down position. I have a 2022 GD Imagine 2910BH.

Well I didn't get it resolved but I did talk to Jacque who handles all of their service orders. She said if it won't stay down it's because there is a broken part inside that cannot be repaired. It must be replaced at $32 plus shipping.

We are going to go with velcro for now until we decide to start replacing them with honeycomb shades. If I'm going to spend ~40 bucks a pop I might as well put it towards something that might last longer.

If you want to DM me I can send you her contact info

I have similar problem. GD told me no parts so replacement only at 95.00 each.

So idea on replacement parts would be appreciated.

Well I can’t speak for your model but ours uses the parts manufactured by the Irvine Shades and Door Inc. While they show the different types used, I had to purchase from the RV Blind Co. in Mesa Arizona. Ordered in early February but still awaiting delivery.

Thanks!

I think mine are same mfg. I will check on AZ. But her web page indicated fast turn around. So that concerns me.

mine is 2023 Rb2600. This issue with 2 shades (so far), several water leaks (dealer attempted to fix and failed), and a/c (bad furrion design for sensor placement... but no cool air until shop fixed under warranty).

They were shipped USPS. Last update on March 4th was in Dallas. USPS’s tracking site stating “longer than usual” delivery times due to severe weather. I have another shipment coming out of North Carolina, again USPS that was scheduled for delivery yesterday that now shows the same tracking message.
