Good Afternoon,

I appear to have water leaking from under my shower pan in my 2024 324 MBS. Initially, I thought there was a leak coming from the shower door, so I removed, cleaned, and reapplied silicone. That did not work. I then went underneath the pass-through to check the drain connection, and the connection is good, no leak. I went into the closet and pulled out the bottom drawer, and saw that there was water entering the bottom left corner as you face the closet, but there was not any water dripping down the water lines that enter the shower area. Grand Design was unable to provide any useful suggestions. Any other advice on spots I could/should check? I have a couple of videos showing water coming from that area I am pointing at, but I am unable to attach.

Thanks for reading!

Patrick

Could it be coming from the faucet connections rather than drain?

See that once in awhile......

That's literally the only thing I haven't checked. Wouldn't I see some leakage dripping down the wall behind the closet though?

I had water there as well after each shower - I added a bunch more silicone to the area where the door frame meets the white shower pan - that helped most of the water coming out but I still saw some randomly - what I later discovered is that if you have any spray hitting the doors from the inside, some will make it out between the 3 glass panes - once I figured that out and made sure that we all kept the shower spray away from the glass, I have not seen anything on the floor anymore. Hope this helps

Ours had the EXACT same leak, and thought it was all the places you suspected. I have the pics and they are identical to yours. It ended up being simple. The screws which secure the bottom track had not been installed with sealant (caulk) and not tightened. Water naturally got through and the ran under the track and came out in the exact same spot as yours.

Our 324 is a 2025 and was only 2 weeks old. We discovered the leak on our first trip. I had the dealer fix it, took them a while to find the problem. They looked everywhere, caulked seams, checked behind walls, etc. Eventually they found the issue. I am betting other models were installed in the same manner and also prone to leaking

Good luck, let us know what you find,

PS...I should add. In the short time it leaked it caused some minor water damage to trim and cabinet base. The dealer replaced everything under warranty of course.

Robert,

It appears to have either been the screws that secured the bottom track or the sides of the rails were not caulked/sealed correctly. I had a mobile RV tech come out and look as well. He agreed with my initial findings and suspected the shower door rail. He caulked the screws which secure the rails to the shower as well the sides of the rails. It has been a few days, and I have not seen any more water. Stoked it appears to have been a simple fix, and we quickly caught it.

Thanks, everyone, for your input! I hope this thread helps others with similar issues in the future.
