2025 Imagine XLS 25DBE, New Owner!

Do you tow bike on the back of your rv?
We love our 25DBE. So far we've been on 6 or 7 trips for around 15 nights total. We had an issue with the slide rack not closing correctly. The slideout side closest to the hitch/bedroom side always operated about 20% faster than the side by the bathroom. This meant it would fully extend or fully close a full 2-3 seconds faster than the other side. You could see against the linoleum lines it was about 8-10" out of square. Like you the other reason we took it in for warranty service was the awning. On our ride home, we stopped to let the kids stretch their legs and noticed the awning arms were about 4" away from the RV sidewall and at the very beginning of opening, not good! We fully closed it again and noticed it you could still see about 1" between the chicken wing style awning arms on one side, so it wasn't fully nesting when all the way closed.

I dropped it at the dealer and they fixed the awning that day, said it was a minor adjustment and it's been perfect since. The slideout they said they needed to order a whole new rack and that took weeks to come in and another week to install around poor weather. It honestly feels like the slideout motor(s) are underpowered for a slide this long, with the weight of the pantry and fridge on it. It no longer operates out of square but my Dad's 10 year old Class C is night and day vs ours in terms of speed opening and closing the slide. I definitely believe we're not done with slideout issues over the years unfortunately.

We don't currently tow anything out of the hitch on the rear of the RV. My kids now have bikes, wife and I may buy for ourselves too so I may buy one of those fold down storage racks that are rear hitch attached. Either that or see if the ladder with a rack can hold 2 kids and 2 adult bikes.

We honestly love this RV though. Don't get me wrong. The bunks are great for our young kids and the layout works really well for our family. We use the outdoor kitchen 80% of the nights camping. I believe we have 4 trips booked for 19 nights already this summer. Looking forward to them.

We love ours too, we spent 10 nights with ours and so far everything works great, except for the awning problem and was taking care of by the dealer. Knock on wood hope the RV stays working. My wife and I we love the layout of 25BDE, it is perfect for a family of 4. My son is thirteen and daughter is fifteen, they both love the bunk bed. We are planning a road trip from CA to South Dakota Mount Rushmore this summer. Enjoy your RV, have fun trips.
