Members discussed concerns about the plastic fender skirt on the 2025 Reflection 322FKTS, which tends to move and "catch air" due to the way the skirting is installed on the slides. Several RVers confirmed this is a common issue for most slide-equipped RVs, except for high-end models where the slides and skirting align more precisely. The misalignment is attributed to the slide seals, which prevent the slides from retracting fully, resulting in a protruding skirt that can flutter at highway...

Hi all! While driving our new TT back from the dealer on a windy day, I noticed that the plastic fender skirt moved around quite a bit. This appears to be due to the way the skirting is installed on the two slides with a piece in the middle. With the slides fully in, the skirting on the slides protrudes farther than the skirting on the non-slide, causing it to "catch the air" as it goes down the road.
Does anyone know if there's a cap or something that would help prevent the front skirt piece on the rear slide from catching air and "flutter" while going down the road?

Normal for any slide RV except high end units like Marathon, Newel, etc. They will never line up because the seals behind the slides prevent the slide from coming in all the way. It really is clumsy looking but it's just the way it has to be.

Thanks, everyone. Having not seen another 322FKTS, I wasn't sure if this was the norm, and now I understand this is normal on these units.
I will most likely look into 3D printing a cap or another solution to improve airflow around the three pieces while also giving it a more finished look.

While I look into a possible 3D-printed transition piece, I did find one solution from ICON that would at least clean up the raw edge, giving the existing setup a more finished look. I plan to hold off on this until I look into other options, but I figured I would post this in case others want to try this instead.

My Momentum had this from new.

I would get that on our 22MLE....I bought some aluminum strips and made and added braces from the frame to the fender skirts and body moldings that would flutter on the highway. They a have a couple coming from the factory, but never enough.
