How to lock tv in GD 2500RL - using a Pool noodle

Here is a picture of the straps my wife made for the new tv mount installation. Velcro is sewn on the end of the straps. We used velcro with an adhesive backing to attach to the cabinet. This along with the pool noodles pieces ( previous pictures ) allows you to pull the straps snug. Have some health issues and haven't been able to test in real life but I think it will work great. Straps easy to remove and store.

nice job but I went the easy way. I cut a 8" pool noodle and sliced it open. when traveling I just jam it between the tv and lower frame of the cabinet. it does not move at all and holds the TV secure in place...

Hi!

I have a 2024 2500RL and seems like they still have not updated the TV design! I found your post and thought I’d ask a few questions. It seems like what you’ve done has worked well? Did you have to change anything with the support or did you just remove the existing TV mount and install the new one and the same spot with no other mods? I’m just wondering if the weight will be an issue for the wall.
