2660bs?

OK, I guess that is why it was not in the book I just picked up today from the local Imagine dealer. I was there looking for travel trailers with a single sewer outlet. Every model of Imagine had a single sewer outlet. I would think this model would also. The local dealer has this model on order.

My big question is do people really want a second door to the outside more than they want a second door to a mid-bath?

I don’t care for the floor plan. Who needs 2 doors in a 26ft trailer, or 2 slides? Doors equal less insulation and slides more weight.
Doesn’t look like it has much inside storage either.
Plus tv over the dinette, no thanks.

I generally agree with your observations, but you are just wrong about the second slide. :D That is literally the only thing holding the 2600RB back for us. I tried to get in on the request for input last week, but Grand Design closed it in only a day. We need a desk, badly. If they turned the bed sideways in the 2600RB and made a slide for the desk and wardrobes on the same side as the main slide, would be perfect. It would even help even out the balance of the trailer, side-to-side. Unfortunately, we'd lose the pass thru, so not possible. Dunno, maybe they could just make two storage doors on the side, under the new head of the bed, instead of a pass through. Or add an outdoor kitchen, not that I am a fan. I need to gin up a pic.

I thought GD just doesn't do pass through bathrooms on principal. I see the wisdom of not blocking access to the bedroom when someone is in the bathroom, but there is a Transcend with one. I'd recommend losing the outside door to the bathroom in the 2660BS and making it a pass through bathroom. We loved the one in the class C we rented years ago for a 2 week trip and we had 6 people and a dog, including MIL and SIL.

We liked the TV over the dinette in one of the Transcends we saw early in our search, but agree that it might be less than optimal now that we know how we use the trailer. That said, with a dedicated desk, my wife wouldn't have to sit in the dinette to work and should be fine. I'd probably sacrifice the U-shape of the dinette (the ottoman/seat is too inconvenient to roll in/out anyhow) to have the TV be a pop-up/hideaway, rather than up at the ceiling. Would allow for more storage, too. If the bathroom was pass through, the living area could be bigger and offer more options. A wider dinette might be nice. On the other hand, I've gotten used to the sofa and dinette being on the same side, so maybe put the fridge/pantry/microwave up against the kitchen on the other side of the trailer, move the door back, put the sofa and dinette side-by-side in the slideout, and put the TV on the wall with the fridge. And what is in the cabinet to the left of the sink that doesn't allow for storage? In the bedroom, there is more storage than the 2600RB, but I'm not sure the wardrobe boxes are deep enough, and the drawers sure seem like they could be deeper, even if they don't pull all the way out. And lose the windows in the bed slide to add nightstand functionality. I still like sliding the desk and storage more than sliding the bed, but it is more weight to slide.

Stay tuned, I am now compelled to hack this up and make a pic. Maybe they can revise in the next couple of years to coincide with our next purchase. Or not.

We looked at one of these on the lot. 2 sewer outlets. No Radio or stereo. no room to place a dvd player. very little outside storage. I would rather see cloth upholstered furniture instead of the crappy fake leather.

The 2 sewer outlets are odd. What is the point, one for bath and one for kitchen, or is one black and one gray? And why have one on the entry side? No one wants that... I can't quite understand what would drive this. Seems should be a lot like the 2600RB, which works fine with one drain.

Aren't all of the Imagines using crappy vinyl upholstery (with one side cloth in the dinette)? Cloth requires cleaning and can get gross over time, and we have dogs. I'd rather have leather, but the furniture is kind of budget anyhow, so I figured sell the trailer before it starts breaking down, or get replacement furniture when it does. I'm a little more irritated by the cheap foam in the seat cushions on the dinette (cost like $100 per for the good stuff), and the foam in the tri-fold sofa seating that isn't laminated, so the top layer of the foam stack slips out of position. I'm even more irritated the seat cushions in the sofa are not replaceable... I wonder how many leather furniture option packages they would sell if they offered them.

I ended up getting a Reflection 296RDTS mainly due to the two sewer outlets.

Nice looking, but no desk in that one, and not really a good option to add one, in spite of the voluminous storage. The bedside perch for little dogs is neat. But definitely heavier than I want. I didn't want a pickup. Sadly, I got a dud Tahoe, so may have to give up and get one. I'm curious to get your take on the benefit of dual sewer.

Ooh, the 2660BS has the accessory rack hitch and underneath spare, like I'm working toward on our 2600RB.

The 296RDTS only has one sewer outlet. I did not want one that had two sewer outlets. My previous trailer had two and it was a PITA.

Ah, okay, I misunderstood. I thought I saw a second one in pics when I was trying to figure it out.
