Hi, just wondering if anyone has relocated or figured out a way to make the bunk ladder easier to get up and down from. Don't know what to do right now to make it easier but would appreciate any information you can offer. It would be great too if you could share pics.
Thanks

I had a similar reaction - very hard to get in. One thing would help would be hand-holds to pull up on - one on the side and perhaps one in the ceiling, i'm not sure how these should be mounted but I would think it required to safely get in and out of the upper bunk. I was also thinking about some kind of "fold out" ladder so there was some place for your feet. Will share if we come up with anything.

We took the factory ladder off and got a portable one from Camping World. Much easier to use and we just store it on or under the bunks when not in use. Others have modified the factory ladder. If you can do a search you will find other conversations and solutions.

I suggest using a toy chest as a step up to the bunk bed provided your child is tall enough to use it. The advantage is you double down. The child can climb up and down the bunk and you also have a place to store toys.

Here's an example on Amazon:
