I have a 2021 2970rl. Is there a way to have electric work on a house 120v lead cord. I hooked it up and it’s charging the battery but no power to tv, microwave fridge ect. It’s a 50a camper with a adapter to connect to 120v

All of my electrical works with an adapter to the 120v house extension cord. You might want to check one of your main breakers. I may have tripped or you have a bad adapter.

The issue is with your adapter.

Are you using a 120/20 amp adapter direct to your 50 amp power cord?

Some adapters will internally connect to both legs of your 50 amp service, other adapters only connect to a single leg. This is often the case with 120/20 amp adapters.

Often, people will use a 30a to 50a adapter between the 120/20a and your 50a power cord. When you have the 30a to 50a adapter in the middle, often, that is the adapter that internally connects to both legs on the 50a power cord.

Check the voltage on the output pins on the 120/20 to determine if your adapter is sending power to both legs of your 50 amp power cord.
