I'm finally getting close to retirement (already retired from the U.S. Army), in a year or so, and a 5th wheel purchase for longer duration trips than in our current travel trailer. I've been watching the 303RLS for a number of years. We prefer to camp in remote, difficult to access locations such as U.S. Forest Service sites and we want a shorter, more maneuverable 5th wheel. Although we've never had issues with our current LP/Elec fridge, I'm really leaning toward a 12v fridge (I'd be installing a suitable solar/battery system) rather than propane/electric but it seemed Grand Design wasn't really headed that way. Today I see that if I "build and price" the 303RLS there is a 16 Cu. Ft. 12V Refrigerator option. However, I don't see that option on the Spec/Features/Packages page. Does anyone know for sure if the 12V fridge is truly available on the 2022 303RLS?

I don't think they would list it on the build page if it weren't (though there have been supply chain issues with just about all appliances). Perhaps huntr70 has some details and will chime in.

That's correct from what I'm hearing. My buddy looked at a new 303RLS and the dealer advised the same. They force the solar panel option which drives the price up $1,400 Cdn.
I have a 2022 early build (July 2021) and it's still propane/electric fridge.

12v standard now. Furrion unit (what else is new?). Do not know about durability, but it worked really well and has a ton of space. Frost free also which is much nicer than the one that was in our TT. I have two 6v glass mat batteries and the 160w solar that's also now standard. Not sure how long batteries only would keep it running.
