Anyone else have trouble with the Center floor roller on the kitchen slide (slide with fridge) tearing up the vinyl floor when pulling the slide in. I thought I saw a post by someone who had installed two additional rollers on the slide bottom to help carry the slide weight and stop the floor damage. Appreciate any help on this. Does anyone know if the newer 303RLS has extra rollers added to the slide from the factory?

If it just started rubbing may want see if needs an adjustment. When my 295RL (similar slides as the 303RLS) was in warranty, my fridge corner of the kitchen slide ripped the linoleum. GD authorized replacement of the rollers, slide adjustment, and a linoleum patch repair.

Might be able to adjust the slide to keep from rubbing if the rollers are still in good shape. Otherwise, from what I understand, they had to partially remove the slide (remove trim and over extend the slide) inorder to install the new rollers which are mounted to the floor.

I cannot speak to your older model, but can tell you GD added rollers to many kitchen slides because of this sort of problem. Most now have two sets of rollers on the non-flush slides - one set that's mounted in or on the floor at the portal and one set mounted in the leading edge of the slide box floor. They also concentrated them (closer spacing) below double door refrigerators.

Rollers can be added, but you will almost certainly need to over-extend or remove the slide box to do so. Through-frame mechanism is designed to be objective to ve over-extended slightly to allow for slide seal replacement. You'll need to remove the slide box facing to do so. If your slide is a Schwintek mechanism, that's full removal and a lots of work. Have you considered a sheet of rigid polyethylene or sheet metal for the slide to run up on?

I have a 2020 RLS and it has a total of 5 rollers on the kitchen slide, I heard they added extra rollers on the newer builds because of the slides tearing the floor.

I had the same issue with the slide tearing the floor, I took off the moulding from the front of the slide and cut a 1/4” of it off and reinstalled the moulding. It has been fine since then. The first time it happened I glued a small piece of those furniture moving pads to the bottom corners of the slide and that worked pretty well also. My slide has about 6 rollers under the kitchen slide.
You might try one of these and see if it works for you.
When the slide goes out the slide is dragging on the floor till about halfway, and then it tips to the outside raising the box off the floor. When I bring the slide in it does the opposite, it only touches the floor for about 18” going in and out.;)
