320MKS Slide Stuck In

We just closed up the RV, then moved to a sewer site, and now one of the large slides will not open. I can hear the motor clicking and it sounds like it wants to move, but it's not. I want to add that when I was putting the slide in on the other side, my metal trash can was in the way against the island and it got crushed, but the slide that crushed it works perfectly fine, it's the slide on the other side.

Does anyone know what I should check?

You should have a controller for the slide. I don't know where it is on your coach, on mine it is in the pass through.

It sounds like something might have made the slide jump off a little. There is a PDF file on Lippert Compoonents in the Reference section. Download it then scroll until you find the section on slides , for the main slides you do not want the Schwintek slide you want is ELECTRIC THROUGH FRAME SLIDE-OUT someplace near page 335. Good luck

It definitely sound like it is spinning and wants to come out, but almost like the gears are not hitting the mechanism to push it out. I tried to click your file, but it says access denied.

Look to the bottom of the first area of forums, the reference section is at the bottom of that section. Look for the Lippert master manual and down load it.
Not sure why it's being goofy about looking at it other than new software glitch

I just tried to manually extend the slide, and it the part that you spin counterclockwise just spun and spun, the slide did not move. Something is definitely off.

kind of sounds like the pin on the motor shaft on the through the wall slide out is sheared off. You'll have to drop the bottom covering (coroplast) to access the motor and check that the pin isn't broken.

See this thread Lippert Master Manuals

I actually got it to work. I went inside and bumped the slide with my shoulder, then tried to open it again and it opened. Not sure if this will be a fix and something was just stuck, or if it's going to be an ongoing issue.

Your bumping it probably got the gear to engage the track again. I would do as Steven@147 suggests and drop the coroplast for a look see.

I tested it again and it went in and won't come back out. It's doing the same thing. But this time it really clunked going back in. I hope this doesn't cost me thousands.

My bet is that its out of alignment or off the track. In any case you won't know till you drop the coroplast and look.
