323bhs second awning

I have a 2014 323BHS and want to add a second awning on the slide out. There's a similar model in crossroad cruiser 368BH that is almost the same floorplan fifthwheel. And it has the second awning. Here's a pic.

Is it doable for the GD 323BHS? How can I order a solera awning from GD to have it install on my fifth wheel.

If you saw a bare slider unit without the trim, windows and wall material, you'll find it's just a shelving unit without much structure. An awning on an extended slider would pull out on the top and push in at the bottom if mounted directly on the slide unit. I would think adding an awning would cause problems.

You might could mount an awning above the slider, however it'd have to be very long to get past a 3' slider and still be worth the effort.

Hi Wally, when you receive an answer on this would you please let me know. I'm interested in doing the same thing and when I asked about 8 months ago I was told by GD it couldn't be done. Hopefully they changed the construction on the slide to support it.Thank you
