After turning on the wrong light switch several times when attempting to turn on the main ceiling lights, I discovered the seldom used light switch for the puck lights over the hutch. I removed both switch panels and drilled a 3/8 hole through the inner cabinet layers. Then I simply removed the switched power wires from each corresponding switch and connected them to the preferred switch. Now, the switch labeled ceiling lights turns the overhead fan on & off and the under cabinet switch operates the overhead ceiling lights.

I also had the dealer upgrade the galley ceiling fan to a Fantastic fan with remote control.

We just bought a 2018 337RLS and I'm going to do the same thing. Seems weird to me to have to open a cupboard every time I want the overhead lights on.

Yep - did that to our Reflection 337 in 2015... and just did it to our new Solitude 310. Despite all the people posting about doing this (on both forums), I don't know why GD continues to put the main house lights behind a door.
