Enroute to Colorado we slid across the scales and weighted the rig out. It had been a while since we’d done it, so wanted to get an idea of where we were at with weights. Our set-up is a 2020 Ram 3500 DRW LB, MORyde pin box, B&W 20k Companion and a 2020 353G.
Before running across the scales we had fueled up, the rig had a full tank of gas for the gennie, unbeknownst to me until we stopped that night our black tank was full, and 1/3 tank of fresh water. Rig was packed for a three week trip for a family of four, no toys loaded. We certainly aren’t minimalist packers.
Here are the weights:
Truck/Trailer Combo-25040
Steers-5540
Drives-7200
Trailer axles- 12300
Truck-9600
Based on my public school education:
Pin weight- 3340
Trailer cargo- 2306
Hopefully someone finds this helpful. I know having actual weights to compare to when buy a new truck or trailer can be useful.
