378MBS mid bunk couch

I noticed when we open the couch in the mid bunk to make it into a bed, It appears where you lay your head is sloped downward as compared to where you place your feet; Is this normal, are there any kind of tricks to get it to be level?

We haven't notice that in our 378MBS with the people that have slept in it. I believe that there was a modification that could be done but I don't recall what it was. Maybe someone will chime in on this one or a search may reveal an answer. I also think that your couch may not be Thomas Payne like mine is which may be the difference here as well.
