379fl broken frame

insurance said wear&tear no claim im on my own,i will pay bill at dealer and bring home going to go welding shop.
 
​Has this been fixed ? I would still pressure Lippert being a faulty weld is a safety issue.

I did pressure lippert provded proof they didnt weld it by my grand design dealer,they dint care .Yes i have hired a mobile welder to fix it supposed to be done this week then the dealer can start reassembly.

Lippert CS is very dissapointing with this one. Once they're done you earned a nice trip!

I hate seeing posts like this. We spend a lot of money assuming that a manufacturer designs and builds a roadworthy frame and undercarriage, but usually we are attracted by the bling. As a welder for many years, I focus on the frame and based on that focus, I would have bought a Arctic Fox fifth wheel! Unfortunately my wife didn't like the inside, and she loved the Solitude 310gk. The good thing about steel is that it can be welded and reinforced, so all isn't lost. If you could find an area that welds were missing and caused the failure, I think I would talk to an attorney to see about bringing legal action. Warranty is supposed to take care of defects, but if it is a design error or workmanship error I would think you could put them on the hook.
