379FL ordering questions

We are interested in ordering a 379fl later this year but I have a few questions. We currently have an 8 yr old RV which is still nice but looking to upgrade. Our current RV has disk brakes, ice maker, Goodyear 614G rated tires, and trail-air suspension. Are any of these options available with a special order? These are all things we hate to give up.
Thanks,
DaveL

I think Goodyear tires would be the only one of those things available. I am not sure but I heard they were an option now.

The Solitude line has TrailAir Equaflex suspension with Correct Track alignment system.

Goodyear G614 tires are now an option on all Solitudes.

No disc brakes and no ice maker. Ice makers are not installed because the refers are in the slides, and there is no way to run a water line into the slide and keep it from freezing when winter camping. Would not be a true 4 season coach then....

huntr70 would you mind sharing or pm'ing me what the cost to upgrade the tires is as a factory option. It was not available when I ordered and i am curious. Thanks

Hi @DaveL,

The current Solitude 379FL has drum brakes with the Trail Air suspension along with Correct Track. The Norcold 12 c.f. refrigerator does not come with an icemaker. And Goodyear G614 tires are an option.

Hope this helps... If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact Marc Hauser (our GM for the Solitude products) for assistance. Marc's email is [email protected].

Best regards,
~ Janice

I'll check the order sheet tomorrow when I get to work.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad they are offering the 614 tires. After having a blowout on a fifth wheel about the same weight as the GD, I feel much safer with the heavier tires. I think I could have disk brakes put on myself if I thought it necessary. And I'm sure I can learn to use ice trays. :)
