Kind of what I thought as well although doesn't look like there was ever much of a weld. Taking it to my repair shop next week.Looks to me like the weld is broken on the bracket that is on the slide. The plate that the slide ramp connects to look crooked because of the broken weld.
Most likely the reason that it failed....poor quality weld and lack of a full weld bead all the way around the mating pieces.Kind of what I thought as well although doesn't look like there was ever much of a weld. Taking it to my repair shop next week.

Yea, I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for a positive answer on that one. Sorry to hear that, but hopefully it will be an easy fix.RV repair shop from looking at the pics agrees that the weld let go. Poor workmanship or something got caught un the slide. They have fixed the same issue before. Waiting to hear from the dealer if this is covered under warranty but since it's 4 years old and I'm the second owner I assume not.
