Hello and thanks for letting me join. I am looking to purchase a 2017 imagine grand design 2650 rk. I am trying to confirm whether these are a 4 season trailer. Thank you.
It really depends on where your 4 seasons are, Florida or Northern Canada/US. We have a 2022 Solitude 378 MBS which is better insulated and we have stayed in -10C or 14F and the furnace ran constantly but we were warm. There are members that have stayed in theirs at 0F or lower but have needed to run supplementaly diesel heaters and have had pipes freeze. May need skirting as well depending on outside temps.Hello and thanks for letting me join. I am looking to purchase a 2017 imagine grand design 2650 rk. Yes they’re four season, if ur in Florida!Hello and thanks for letting me join. I am looking to purchase a 2017 imagine grand design 2650 rk. I am trying to confirm whether these are a 4 season trailer. Thank you.
R7 vs R9. Neither would likely make a big difference. Not a chance. Imagines only have 1" of foam for walls.
But you could do it but you'll be pumping in a lot of heat all the time. Without dual pane windows they'll condensate badly which means you'll have to crack a ceiling vent open which lets precious warm air out. You'll have to make some mods for the tanks as well. For a couple nights in freezing temps it would be doable but not for long term stays.
It will fare much better in hotter times than colder times.
True and subtract in the R1 for windows and things get even worse. I always get a kick out of the R values for walls when looking at a unit that has a large slide with 2 large windows on the long side and small ones on the short sides. Most of the R7-9 is gone. Couple that with the floor R value of around .94 and it's time to turn the heat on. The add in a huge rear window. Burr.R7 vs R9. Neither would likely make a big difference.

It depends on your definition of 4 seasons. Desert southwest yeah. Michigan no. Research the area temps you’re going to camp in.Hello and thanks for letting me join. I am looking to purchase a 2017 imagine grand design 2650 rk. I am trying to confirm whether these are a 4 season trailer. Thank you.
