What are you using to see your gooseneck ball for hitching or an Andersen style hitch? Are there any aftermarket wireless cameras that will link up to a Chevy infotainment system or my Furrion S7 monitor?

I have a rechargeable camera, that connects to your phone. It's a magnetic mount, and really works pretty good. But I use it very infrequently. Less than $100. A lot less.

Not a camera, but I'm using the Hitch Hook-up Mirror (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ET990WW). We have the Andersen hitch and it works great.

Our 2023 OEM Ford cab rear camera works great for our 5er hitching...... would guess it would work great for gooseballs too.

I installed a dash cam with rear facing camera. The rear facing is hardwired but I ran the wires up the Pilar and out the third break light mounted the camera just under the break light. This has an overlay mirror that goes on over you rear view mirror. It can be used in camera mode or regular mirror. It is touch screen which allow you to adjust from front or rear facing and it allows you to change the camera view from rear to downward into the bed to see your hitch . Has worked great for over 2 years.

I do like trylrydr.... Ford cab mounted camera. I can even zoom in. Sometimes I put a battery operated LED work light in the bed shining at the ball and hitch when I back in my garage and need additional light.

I use this camera when hitching to my Curt hitch. I mount it on the inside of the bed when hooking up and it works perfectly through my phone. I got it because my wife is too short to see inside the bed when I am hitching up, and the Tonneau Cover blocks my view from the drivers seat.

Yep, that's the one I also have. Works very well.

Dash Cam

We installed a web cam that comes with a front view and a rear view camera. We mounted the rear view camera on the top of the back window and it looks down at the Andersen Hitch. The monitor that came with the dash cam system lets you scroll between the front or the back view which makes it easy to back up and connect to the Andersen. I have linked what we bought which shows' it is unavailable but there are many similar dash cams that you can find on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YB3WX2X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My F350 dually has all the cameras I need. It lines my Anderson hitch ball with the RV fifth-wheel pin. It came equipped with several camera views. There are wireless cameras on the market you could add.

This won't work for a traditional gooseneck hitch, but for my Andersen Ultimate, I just use a rolled-up piece of letter-sized paper that fits over the ball, sticking up enough to see in the rear-view mirror over my tri-fold tonneau cover. Then just line it up with the hitch and stop when it starts folding over. Been using this method for years and it's always reliable. Have a small stack of paper and some tape in the truck to make a new one when it wears out (2-3 months).

Great addition for me - magnetic pin locator

I've thought about a camera, tried the Garmin and didn't care for it. I use a telescoping magnet set just forward of the ball. Line it up with the center of the goosebox and back up till I see the handle move.

I use two small strips of reflective tape on the bed equidistant left and right from the Curt ball. It makes it easy to get lined up left to right. The magnetic will help zero in on the fore and aft dimension.

OK this is a first I heard of the Ford high mount break light camera being able to zoom. How do you do it if I may ask?

Never mind I found it here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDoLjsRRa5o I never knew I could do this.
#1BamaFan I know Chevy offered a high bed camera. Have you checked with your dealer ti see if they can retrofit one?

A lot (just about all?) YouTubers pushing a 'better' camera to replace that high mount Ford camera never do a comparison of using the zoom feature. And since those YouTubers are probably getting paid to influence us to buy a different camera I think they ignore the zoom feature in favor of pushing their product(s).

Of course I am pretty cynical about most folks' review on YouTube as I consider those folks a bit biased.

Anyway - glad you found the + button for the zooming. I used it all the time once my tailgate gets to the pin box.

I use the iBall wireless camera. The camera is magnetic and I mount it on the backside of our GooseBox. Then the monitor plugs into the cigarette lighter plug. Works pretty well.
