A/C fan

We have a Reflection with a Dometic A/C and thermostat. According to the thermostat manual, in auto mode the fan will switch between low and high speed when the set/actual temperature difference is around 4 to 5 degrees. We discovered this when at the boundary temperature with the speed switching every minute or so.

Is it normal for the fan to shut off for one or two seconds when automatically changing speed?

The system should not cycle that often. This symptom could indicate a faulty air temperature sensor or thermostat. We suggest you get this checked out on your next dealer visit. If you need assistance, please call our Customer Service team at (574) 825-9679.
