Can anyone explain how to hook up my Dish Tailgater up in my 308 TT ?? and can it work in the living room ,bedroom and possible rear bunkhouse ?? any help would be very appreciated.

on our 303, i hooked the sat up to living-room terminal in docking station, then hooked it directly to dish receiver. the sat cable going in, cannot go thru any splitter after leaving the receiver to other rooms it can be split , but signal cant go thru external tv booster in our bedroom, could never get signal to basement outlet, a coaxial signal tester is a good tool to have while doing this. There is a diagram in reflection 303 owners manual that helps a little.

Hi @game warden,

Our satellite cabling is direct from the utility center to the final location (as marked). If your dish has 2 outputs, you will have to select which 2 get a direct feed.

Best regards,

Janice, the problem with this is how do you feed both the living room (HD) and the bedroom (SD) with one receiver and still pickup local TV with rooftop antenna????????????? Please send a diagram to achieve this . I think you need to feed bedroom from receiver in living room, if you have receiver in basement you can't have HD in living room?????? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the 313 TT and I'm in the same boat. I have Satellite in the LR but there is no way to get it to the bedroom as far as I know. From my reciever, I connect to the TV with an HDMI cable which leaves a coax-out to theoretically connect to the bedroom TV. But there is no way to route the coax that I know of.

You can back feed the coax system and get at in the bedroom.

It will just be the same channel a what is in the LR.

Turn of the antennae booster when doing that.

You will get either one or the other. You either use the sat OR you use the antennae.

On our 303, we used the antenna feed from living room back to bedroom, unhooked that coax from booster switch and hooked coax to TV.

HHHUUUUUMMM this is great conversation but there has to be a way to use the antenna and sat in living room and bedroom worked ok for me in my 2012 Laredo. I know you have to watch one or the other not both at the same time.I will stay tuned for updates

I can watch either in bedroom by switching coax, I am using antenna feed from bedroom to living room to feed sat from living room to bedroom. If you put sat receiver in basement, and fed both rooms sat from basement, then I think you could, but no HD in living room with dish system. GD could make this a lot easier with probably $25.00 during manufacturing. I was hoping they would chime in and give advice?

If you have a dual feed dish, you hook to the living room and bedroom feeds in the hook up area.

You then hook up a receiver in the living room and the bedroom. You have dedicated sat feeds in both locations.

You then use the regular cable/antennae feeds for locals.

If you use dedicated receivers in each location, you can watch both ways.

You should still be able to get locals off the antennae in the bedroom while backfeeding the cable system as long as you turn the booster on and turn the sat receiver off. You won't get them at the point of back feeding, because you are using the cable output as an input.
