I just wanted to say that my husband and I really appreciate the advice and helpfulness of GD owners! You all are the best. Being new to rv'ing it was very overwhelming when we took our 2017 350 Momentum off the dealer lot over a week ago. I'm not even going to think twice about paying! We look forward to learning more and someday give advice!

Welcome to the family from a fellow PNW'er. Enjoy your new trailer! This is a great area to be able to travel in and see all that we have.

Hi all,
I'm Chris Tretta from Rio Rancho, NM. We are new Solitude owners! I have owned a number of travel trailers starting with a TrailManor, a couple of 30 foot travel trailers, a tent trailer, a 34 foot WindJammer, and now our Solitude. I have been running the TrailManor Owners Pages since 1998 when I founded it. It is the leading site for TM information, and is the #1 sales site for TM trailers. My wife Michaela and I have 4 kids - our oldest is 20 and in the Navy (like dad), and is moving this weekend to Norfolk to join the crew of the USS Gerald R. Ford. The other 3 are 18, 16, and 12 - 3 boys and a girl.

We love to camp, and are looking forward to using this trailer often. We upgraded our tow vehicle to a 2013 Ram 3500 Cummins with the Aisin. We moved from a 2010 Tundra 5.7 that towed really well.

I am going to be looking for Moderators to help me with the forum, and am always interested in what you want different on the site. Currently we are running a freeware forum from Simple Machines. I have run this brand of forum for many years, and it works well. The TM site runs VBulletin. Depending on how this site works out, we may move it once it starts gaining members.

The board will be member supported. I don't do advertisements. I hate them on the forums that I visit and don't want to run a site like that. I don't do tracking cookies or anything like that. I charge $12 per year for full access to the forums which is what the TM members came up with in 2003 when we decided to charge. The way it works is that a new user gets 30 days of free trial to see if $12 is worth it to them. If it isn't, then their access drops and they'll have access to the general discussion and factory forums. The technical discussion areas will require member access. I will implement this soon.

I appreciate your participation! You're the early adopters to this board, and you get to help set the direction and the look and feel. Please feel free to suggest what you want.
Thanks
Ct..

How can I obtain full access

Select 'Settings' from the top header then 'Paid Subscriptions' from the column on the left and follow the instructions. Note: You don't need a Paypal account.

Greetings from Olive Branch, MS - New owners of a Solitude 321RL just this week (pick it up Wednesday) We are coming from a Jayco Travel Trailer and are really excited about the coach. I did research all the major brands (Forest River, Jayco) and we found so much good information and responses about Grand Design that we went with this unit. We will be pulling it with a Ford F250 Diesel. Looking forward to learning more about our camper from this group.

Hello, I did not realize there was a fee to have complete access - - how do I pay?
Thank you,
Felix

In the upper right, click on "Settings".
Then click on "Paid Subscriptions" on the left side
Click on one, two or three years and submit your payment.

The fees pay for administration of the site which keeps us advertisement free.

Hello Chris! My husband Mark and myself Vickie are so very new to pulling a camper and even owning a truck!! My husband just retired from working for the US Treasury and I am a retired nurse. We bought our very first camper and it is the Imagine 2670MK and we simply love it. We plan on being pretty much full time campers!! As soon has my husband recovers from a arm surgery this next month and we plan on heading out west after the holidays. We also will be traveling with our Three precious Doxies and a very fat cat!!. I have been following the Facebook Grand Design page and love it. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. This Forum seems to be a little overwhelming, so I pick your post to see if I am using this site correctly!! There seems to be so much on here!! It also looks to directed to the larger Grand Designs than the Imagines!! So I hope this one turns out to be as helpful as the Facebook..

Thank you
Vickie and Mark

Maybe you can help me real quick. I'm new to forums. I figured out how to reply but how do I post new questions? I'm a registered user. Thanks

Just like did just now. Go to the forum that your question would fall under, and make a post with your question.

Are you asking about a question on an already existing thread? Or do you want to start a new thread (with a new question)?

Hi Chris,
My wife Jacquelyn & I are new owners of a Grand Design 303RLS and we love it. Our RV experience started with a small 20' camper than to a 36 foot motor home and to a Open Range 345 RLS. We traded the Open Range for a Ultra Lite by Forest River. We only had the Ultra Lite for about a month when we hit an unmarked bridge in Iowa. We found that the Ultra lite was poorly constructed in comparison to the GD and we are extremely happy with our purchase. I have read many of the posts on the forum and you and the boards direction of the forum is excellent.

New owners of a 2018 Solitude 360RL. Picked up 2 weeks ago and in the process of reorganizing supplies etc. from previous trailer, a 2008 Jazz 3300TRE 5th wheel. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet on a shake down trip, hopefully soon.

Also is there a way to pay for membership without PayPal? Don’t like/use PayPal.

New owner of 2018 GD 150 series 230RL This will be my full time home (Once I sell my house) Have only been in it 3 weeks, but there is nothing I do not like about it. It feels like a home and not an RV. Could not be happier with my choice!

Hi there, and welcome. When you go to the Paypal link, you can finish your payment with your credit card.
